Compact is the first choice for maximum comfort and safety for straight stairs. Compact is versatile, so whatever your particular staircase or your personal requirements, we are sure to have the stairlift that will suit your individual needs precisely.

Compact Stand/Perch

The Compact Stand/Perch is specifically designed to meet the needs of users who have difficulty in sitting or simply those who feel more comfortable standing while using a stairlift.

The Perch seat can be supplied with one of 12 unique seat heights ranging from 575 to 850mm. Together with the safety barrier arm and easy to operate safety belt you can be assured of a comfortable and safe journey up and down the stairs.

With a choice of 6 quality fabric colours and 3 rail finishes this will ensure the compact Stand/Perch blends perfectly into your home.

Compact Stairlift

Compact is the slimmest stairlift in the world and will fit on even the narrowest of straight stairs, folding up when not in use allowing maximum access on the staircase for non-stairlift users. Compact has been designed to easily blend into your home and should quickly become as much a part of your life as your favourite armchair.

Compact has a choice of different seat heights, so it can be specifically matched to your personal requirements. There is also a choice of seatbelts to ensure safe travel on the stairlift.

The footrest is extremely close to the floor, and stops level with the top step for your complete safety edges to prevent trapping of objects whilst the stairlift is in motion.
For people who have difficulty in bending the optional powered seat and footrest raisers will effortlessly fold away the stairlift when not in use.

Compact has been fitted with a Self Diagnostic Display on the carriage to provide you with service information on the status of the stairlift.

When it comes to parking there is an optional Auto parking facility which will automatically fold away any powered seats, footrest or hinges and park the stairlift on the rail, all at the press of a single button on the remote control.

Every element of Compact has been carefully designed with your comfort in mind and to provide years of reliable use.

Range

The Contour Elite curved Stairlift from Bison represents a major step forward in comfort and reliability and has been designed to be an attractive and unobtrusive addition to the home.

The Contour Elite moves on a continuous, attractively finished rail and takes up very little space on the staircase. An easy to use joystick on the armrest and for additional control operates the Contour Elite, an optional on/off key switch can be fitted.

Contour Stairlift

The wall mounted slim-line, membrane covered stairlift call and send units blend readily with other electrical sockets. The large buttons are easy to read and utilise a neat, unobtrusive wiring system.

The Contour Elite is battery powered, making it quiet and smooth in operation and providing additional peace of mind in the event of a power cut.

The integral footrest is only 55mm from ground floor level and has no step, enabling easy access; it ends its travel level with the top stair nose, making dismount effortless.

The unique self levelling transport system moves the carriage along the single low profile rail and automatically adjusts the speed and level of the seat on cornering, providing an exceptionally smooth ride. The system electronic programming ensures excellent operational reliability.

When not in use the stairlift seat, arms and footrest can be easily folded back out of way for maximum access on the staircase.

The Contour Elite has been designed with optimum consideration for user safety. An on/off switch is conveniently located on the armrest, for total control. The carriage and footrest are equipped with pressure sensitive edges, to prevent trapping objects on the staircase. A hand-winding facility is also provided for emergencies.
